Wabi Sabi

"La danza del blanco y negro"
This new series of work has been inspired by the imperfections of Wabi Sabi. The materials I've incorporated include rice papers, acrylic paint and indoor cement. I paint the papers freely with brushes, rags and scratching tools. The cement shapes are made by pouring and tossing it on plastic in a haphazard way to create unique and unfamiliar forms that are unknown to me.
