Pastels

I discovered the richness, vibrancy and versatility of pastels in 2012 when I took an abstract drawing class with a very talented and inspiring teacher in Woodstock, NY.
While continuing my practice of painting with encaustics and acrylics, I would sometimes enhance the colors with the densely pigmented soft-chalk pastels, in addition to using them purely on their own.
